The Ministry of Women and Children Affairs (MoWCA), with UNICEF’s technical support, has launched the Prevention of Violence and Harmful Practices against Children and Women (PVHP) Project, a landmark initiative to establish a nationwide, community-based prevention system protecting children and women. Three-batches foundation training began on 1 September with senior officials from MoWCA and UNICEF, marking the phase-wise deployment of 64 Child Rights Officers and 250 Community Hub Organizers across the country.
